Who we are
ARAPDIS
ARAPDIS, “the Catalan acronym for ‘Association for the Rehabilitation and Adaptation of People with Reduced Ability to Integrate into Society and the Workplace’, is a social non-profit organisation, certified in the Public Interest, that is celebrating its 34th anniversary in 2023.
Founded in 1989 by Dr Ramón Blasi and his team, the association aims to ensure the care, rehabilitation, normalisation and integration of people affected by some kind of limitation on their ability to participate in society, the community and the workplace.
Our organisation is made up of a multidisciplinary team of professionals in the field of Community Mental Health Rehabilitation. Psychiatrists, psychologists, doctors, nurses, social workers, educators, instructors, carers, and management, administration and service staff work hard to make this project a reality.
